You don’t need to join Tinder to view profiles, however, you won’t be able access them unless you sign up. Once you sign up, you can browse through the profiles and decide whether you want to chat with anyone or not.
If you click on the profile picture of someone you like, you’ll be taken to their profile page which includes basic information about the user such as name, age, location, occupation, relationship status etc.
Once you decide to interact with someone, you’ll receive a notification on your phone asking you to confirm your decision. After confirming, you can start messaging the person directly.
It’s important to note that once you’ve started communicating with someone, you cannot stop until both parties agree to cancel the conversation.

• Match – Similar to Tinder, Match allows users to swipe right or left to indicate interest. Users can also add friends and share photos.
• Happn – Similar to Tinder, Happn allows users to swipe right to indicate interest. However, unlike Tinder, Happn doesn’t allow users to message each other until after they’ve matched.
• Grindr – Similar to Tinder, Grindr allows users to swipe right/left to indicate interest. Users must be 18 years or older to use the app.
• Scruff – Similar to Tinder, Scruff allows users to swipe right (like) or left (dislike). Users can also chat with members.
