Why does Apple allow pornography?
Apple allows pornographic content because it knows its users would rather watch porn than work. And who doesn’t like watching porn?
Pornography is a billion dollar industry and Apple wants a piece of that pie. So, when Apple launched iTunes Plus, it included access to over 100,000 movies and TV shows that were previously only available through subscription services. This was great news for consumers, but not so great for Apple.
Because Apple wanted to keep its users happy, it decided to give them free access to these movies and TV shows. But, Apple didn’t stop there. They also gave users access to over 1 million songs and videos that were previously only available via subscription.
This move made Apple a major player in the music and video industries. However, this also meant that Apple had to pay royalties to record labels and movie studios. To offset those costs, Apple offered some of its own original content, including the hit series “Carpool Karaoke.”
And now, Apple is getting ready to launch its own streaming service called Apple Music. The company already offers a similar service called Beats Music, which gives subscribers unlimited access to millions of songs and thousands of playlists.
But Apple Music isn’t just another music streaming service. Instead, it’s designed to compete directly with Spotify and Pandora. And, unlike those two companies, Apple Music won’t be limited to offering free streaming.
Instead, Apple plans to offer paid subscriptions at $9.99 per month. While most people will still use Apple Music for free, many will eventually upgrade to the premium version.
While Apple Music may seem like a risky venture, it makes sense. After all, Apple already owns the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac computers, and Apple Watch. Now, it’s looking to add the home entertainment center to the list.
With Apple Music, Apple hopes to become the go-to place where people find and listen to music. And, since Apple owns the entire process, it should be able to control the experience.
That means Apple Music will feature exclusive content, personalized recommendations, and seamless integration with devices.
If Apple succeeds, it will be the biggest threat to Spotify and Pandora yet.
Are they trying to protect children from porn?
Apple has been accused of censoring pornography on its App Store because it doesn’t want kids to accidentally download it. The company says it does not allow pornographic content on its app store because it wants to keep children safe. But critics say this is censorship, and Apple should be allowed to decide what’s appropriate for children.
This topic is controversial, but there are two sides to every story. On one side, some believe that Apple shouldn’t censor pornography because it’s harmful to children. They argue that parents should be able to decide whether or not their child downloads porn.

Personally, I’m torn. I understand where both sides are coming from, but I still prefer Apple’s approach. I think it makes sense for Apple to ban pornography because it’s harmful for children. However, I don’t agree with banning violent video games because they’re harmless.
