Blackpeoplemeet is a social networking site created specifically for African Americans. We want to help black people connect with one another. Our mission is to provide a place where black people can come together to share experiences, ideas, and information about issues affecting us.
We believe in creating a space where black people can safely express themselves without fear of judgment or ridicule.

Can I delete my profile without deleting the account?
If you’re not comfortable sharing your personal information online, you should consider deleting your profile. However, you can still access your profile through your email address.
Then enter your email address and password. Click Delete Account. You’ll be asked to confirm your request. Once confirmed, your profile will be deleted.
However, this doesn’t mean you have to give up your BlackPeopleMeet account. You can keep your profile active, just deactivate it. Enter your email address and password, and click Deactivate Profile. Your profile will remain inactive until you reactivate it.
Once you’ve removed your profile, you won’t receive any emails from BlackPeopleMeet. If you’d rather delete your entire account, you can do that too. Enter your email address, and click Delete Account. You’ll need to verify your identity by entering your phone number. After verifying your identity, you’ll be taken to a confirmation screen where you can select whether you want to permanently delete your account.
After confirming your decision, you’ll be redirected to a final confirmation screen where you can either cancel or continue the deletion process. The deletion process may take several minutes to complete.
When you’re done, you’ll no longer receive emails from BlackPeopleMeet, and you won’t be able to login to your account. If you decide to delete your account, you’ll lose all of your posts, comments, photos, videos, and messages. So be careful when deciding whether to delete your account.
