You simply tap the little arrow icon at the top right corner of the screen. From there, you can select Chat or Text.
If you want to switch back to chat mode, just click the button again.

Change the default messaging app
When you’re chatting with friends online, you use the default messaging app (e.g., Facebook Messenger). But when you’re texting back and forth with clients, you switch over to another app (e.g. WhatsApp).
But what happens when you need to send messages to multiple recipients at once? Or when you need to add attachments? What if you want to send a link to your latest blog post?
That’s where the Message Center comes in handy. The Message Center allows you to create groups of contacts who receive messages automatically. And you can send them messages via email, SMS, or any other method.
To set up the Message Center, simply select the group name, enter the number of members, and choose whether to include yourself in the list. Then you can send messages to the entire group or just individual members.
Once you’ve created your Message Center, you can easily send messages to anyone in the group. There you’ll find a button labeled Send Group Texts.
Click that button and type your message. Then hit Send. Your message will be sent to everyone in the group.
Set up notifications
Notifications allow you to send messages to users who aren’t online at the moment. This feature allows you to reach out to them when they’re available.
Then select the type of notification you’d like to use (text, email, etc.) and enter the user’s email address.
When the user signs in, he/she will receive a notification letting him/her know you’ve sent a message. The user must opt-in to receive these types of notifications. To do this, simply scroll down and tap the box next to each option.
If you want to send a reminder to a specific user, just add his/her name to the subject line.
