And we believe that starts with finding jobs and getting educated. So we offer job training programs, mentoring, career coaching, and financial planning.
We also work closely with employers to ensure our graduates find quality employment. And we partner with schools to ensure students graduate prepared for college and careers.
Our services aren’t limited to just black men. We serve anyone who wants to improve his life.

They teach financial literacy
100 Black Men (100BM) was founded in 2009 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. Robert Woodson. The mission of 100BM is to empower black men and boys through financial literacy programs that help them build wealth and achieve economic independence.
Dr. Woodson believes that financial literacy is essential to achieving equality and prosperity for African Americans. He says, “We must educate our young men to be financially responsible and economically independent.”
With this goal in mind, 100BM offers free educational workshops throughout the country. These workshops cover topics including budgeting, credit scores, investing, saving, entrepreneurship, and insurance.
Additionally, 100BM provides mentorship programs for young entrepreneurs who are interested in starting businesses. They offer mentoring sessions where aspiring business owners meet with successful entrepreneurs to learn valuable lessons.
100BM also sponsors scholarships for students pursuing degrees in finance and economics. And lastly, they work closely with community organizations to create job training programs that prepare individuals for careers in banking and finance.
They offer scholarships
100 Black Men offers scholarships to students who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership skills. The scholarship program provides financial assistance to students who plan to attend college after graduation.
Students must be enrolled full-time at a four-year accredited institution, maintain a 2.5 GPA, and complete 12 hours per semester towards community service. Students must also submit a resume and two letters of recommendation.
Applicants must be African American males between the ages of 18 and 24 years old.
