Meetups are a great place to connect with others interested in the same topics as you. They’re also a fantastic resource for learning about communities, events, and organizations near you. We’re excited to announce that we’re now supporting Meetups on both iOS and Android.
With Meetups, you can create groups based on interests, hobbies, or anything else that you want to share with others. Once created, you can invite friends to join or start one yourself.
You can search for Meetups by location, topic, or event type, and once you find something interesting, you can sign up right away. You can also browse existing Meetups and check out upcoming events.
If you’re looking for something specific, you can filter the results further by age and gender. This makes it easier to find people nearby who share similar passions.
Once you’ve joined a group, you can post updates and photos, chat with other members, and participate in discussions. You can also view member profiles, which includes information such as their profile photo, age, gender, and interests.

Meetups are great places to network and find out about local events, meet new friends, and learn new things. But did you know there’s a whole world of Meetups outside of social media?
There are Meetups for everything from knitting to salsa dancing to karate. And some of them are free!
If you’ve never heard of Meetups, now’s the perfect time to join one. There are thousands of Meetups across the country, and many of them are completely free. So sign up today and start meeting new people!

Meetups are great places to meet people who share similar interests. They’re also a fantastic place to network and learn about the local community. But did you know that Meetups are also a great way to build your personal brand online?
If you’ve ever been to a Meetup event, you may have noticed that some members wear branded clothing, carry branded items, or display branded signs. These members are known as Brand Ambassadors, and they represent the brand at events where they attend.
Brand ambassadors are often paid to be there, but many volunteer because they believe in the brand and its mission. So when you join a Meetup group, consider becoming a brand ambassador. Attach a photo of yourself wearing the brand’s logo and carrying the brand’s product. This makes you instantly recognizable as a member of the brand’s team.
When you become a brand ambassador, you’ll gain credibility among your peers and help spread awareness of the brand. And since you’re representing the brand, you’ll receive free advertising through social media and other channels.

If you’ve ever been to a meetup, you know that each group usually has its own unique name. And each group may be called something different than the others. So when you attend a meetup, you need to remember the name of the group (or club) you joined.
This is where a Meetup ID comes in handy. This special number lets you identify yourself as a member of a specific group.
When you create a Meetup account, you’ll receive a unique Meetup ID. Your Meetup ID is used to log into your Meetup profile, add friends, post events, and search for other members.
The group name is located after the last forward slash.
To use your Meetup ID, simply copy the URL address of any event you plan to attend and paste it into the box labeled “Group Name.” Then enter your Meetup ID.
Your Meetup ID is also displayed next to your username on your personal profile page.
Join Events
Meetups are great ways to meet new people who share similar interests. They’re also a fantastic way to network and build relationships.
But there’s no need to join every single event out there just because you’re curious about them. Instead, find events that interest you and attend those. Then, when you meet people at these events, ask them questions about themselves and their businesses. This gives you a better understanding of each person and helps you decide whether you’d be interested in working together.
If you’re not comfortable asking strangers personal questions, consider joining groups that cater specifically to your industry. These groups often host monthly networking events where members discuss topics relevant to your work.
