eHarmony and Elite Singles are both great sites to help you find love online. They are very similar in that they offer a large database of potential dates. Both sites are free to join and browse through thousands of profiles.
Both websites also provide a lot of information about the user including age, height, education level, occupation, religion, ethnicity, relationship status, etc.
You can search by location, age range, and even personality types such as extroverts, introverts, geeks, nerds, etc.
If you want to narrow down your search further, you can select specific interests and hobbies. For example, you could search for a single parent looking for a single mom, or a Christian looking for a Christian.
Once you find a profile you like, you can view additional details such as the member’s photo, email address, phone number, and even their physical appearance.
You can contact them directly via email or text messaging.
When you click on the ‘Contact Me’ button, you will be taken to a form which asks for basic personal information such as name, date of birth, and current city. After filling out this form, you will receive an automated response confirming receipt of your request.
You can also upload a photo of yourself, and write a short description of why you are interested in meeting the member.
After submitting your profile, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know whether or not the member viewed your profile.
You can also set up a time to chat with the member. Once you agree to chat, you will receive a second email notification.
During the chat session, you can ask questions about the member and they can answer them.
