But which states are leading the pack when it comes to using dating apps? To find out, we analyzed the top 10 U.S. states based on number of users per 100,000 residents.
We found that California leads the nation with over 1 million active users, followed closely by New York at 995,000. These two states were followed by Texas, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Washington, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, and Maryland.
Interestingly enough, the least used dating app was Tinder, which only had 477,000 active users in 2017. This means that there are still plenty of singles who haven’t tried this app yet.
