  1. 7 years is considered to be the average length of marriage. But why do couples break up at such a young age?

First of all, let me tell you something about myself. I am not a psychologist nor do I play one on TV. I just want to share my personal experiences, which may help others.

When I met my wife, she was very different from me. She was outgoing and talkative while I was quiet and shy. We both had different interests and hobbies. We were also very different in terms of personality.

We dated for 2 years before getting married. During this time, we tried to resolve our differences and learn to understand each other. After 3 months of being together, we got engaged.

After 6 months, we started planning our wedding. In fact, we planned it within 4 weeks. On December 1st, 2016, we got married.

At the time of writing this article, we have been married for 7 years now. And guess what? We still don’t agree on anything.

So, what happened during the last 7 years? Well, we had problems, misunderstandings, fights, arguments, and disagreements.

But we never broke up. At least, not yet.

There are several reasons why couples break up at such early ages. Some of them are discussed below.

    1) Lack of understanding

    2) Communication issues

    The Reasons Behind Relationship Breakups

There are many reasons behind relationship breakdowns. Some of them are obvious, others not so much. But no matter the reason, there are some commonalities among all relationships that end in divorce.

One of those commonalities is that most marriages begin with great expectations. Couples often believe that marriage is going to be different than any previous relationship. They expect to spend every day together, share everything, and never fight.

Unfortunately, this isn’t true. Most marriages experience conflict, disagreements, and arguments. And when these conflicts become too frequent, they eventually lead to separation.

When couples separate, they usually blame each other. The problem is that blaming doesn’t solve anything. Blaming only makes things worse because it creates distance between partners.

Instead, try focusing on yourself. Ask yourself whether you’re willing to change in order to save your marriage. If you aren’t willing to change, then you need to accept that you’ve made mistakes and move forward.

The Most Common Causes of Divorce

There are many reasons why couples break up. Some of them are obvious, some aren’t. But there are three main causes of divorce that most people overlook.

    1) Lack of communication. Couples who communicate well tend to stay together longer than those who don’t.2) Money problems. The biggest reason for divorce is financial issues.3) Physical abuse. Abuse is often overlooked because it doesn’t seem like physical violence. However, when a partner physically abuses another person, it’s not only emotionally damaging, but it can be dangerous too.

If you’re married, chances are you’ve experienced these three common causes of divorce. So take note, and remember that if you want to avoid divorce, you need to work on improving your relationship.

The Best Way To Prevent A Split

If you’re looking for ways to prevent a split, there are two things you should be aware of:

    1) The most important factor is communication.

    2) The second most important factor is commitment.

Communication is the foundation of any relationship. Without it, no matter how strong the commitment may seem, relationships fail.

Commitment is the glue that holds a relationship together. Without it, no amount of communication will keep a couple together.

When a couple breaks up, it’s usually because either partner was not committed enough to the relationship. They were too busy focusing on themselves instead of each other.

One of the biggest mistakes couples make is thinking that they can fix everything themselves. This leads them to believe that they can save their relationship, when in reality, they need help.

They need to work on improving their communication skills, and commit to being honest with each other. And if they truly care about saving their marriage, they’ll seek professional counseling.

How Long Should You Wait Before Getting Married?

If you’re thinking about getting married, there’s no need to rush. The longer you wait, the better off you’ll be.

According to a recent study published in the Journal of Family Psychology, the average age when people marry is 27.5 years old. However, this number varies widely depending on gender, race, income level, geographic location, and many other factors.

Some people say marriage should never happen until after college graduation. Others believe it should only occur once you’ve been together for seven years.

There’s no right answer here because each couple must decide for themselves whether they feel ready to take the next step. But if you’re not quite ready yet, don’t worry. There’s still plenty of time to find the perfect partner.
