Why do messages disappear on SilverSingles?

You can still view other users’ full profiles, including their age, location and interests. But you won’t be able to see anything else until you’ve both agreed to connect.
This means you’ll never have to worry about accidentally stumbling upon something you don’t want to see. And because you’re always connected, you can easily reach out to anyone you’d like to chat with.
If you decide to take things further, you can continue messaging without revealing your identity.
Is it because I’m using a mobile device?
If you’re having trouble getting messages to appear on SilverSingles, there may be several reasons. The most common reason is that you’re not logged in when you send a message.
Then try sending another message.
Another possible cause is that you’re trying to send a message to someone who isn’t online. To avoid this issue, select the option to only send messages to members who are currently online.
Still no luck? Try logging out completely, and then logging back in again. This should solve the problem.
Are my messages being deleted by the system?
If you’re getting messages that say “Your message was not sent because there were no matches”, this means that your messages aren’t reaching any members. This happens when your messages are being deleted by the system.
To prevent this from happening, be sure to use the same email address for every member. Also, try sending messages at different times during the day.
Also, be sure to send messages only once per week. Otherwise, your messages may be deleted by the system.
Can I see what’s happening with my messages?
If you’re having trouble getting your messages to appear on SilverSingles, there are several reasons why this may be happening. The most common reason is because your messages were sent too quickly after another member’s last message was sent. This means that when you send your own message, it appears below the previous message.
To avoid this problem, wait at least 5 minutes between sending messages. Another reason your messages may not show up is because you’ve been blocked from sending messages. To fix this issue, contact our support team.
Another possible cause of disappearing messages is spam filtering. Spam messages are filtered out automatically by the system. If you receive a notification saying that your messages have been removed due to spamming, please contact us. We apologize for any inconvenience.
